Hi! I'm a Phillips Academy student who really enjoys web design, photography, and entrepreneurship.
I'm a junior at Phillips Andover Academy who's really passionate about the possiblities of technology. I'm the founder of a new non-profit company called Sponsr.Us that enables student projects (high school and college) to harness the power of social fundraising and volunteer mentors to achieve their goals. We're going to be a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation and our team is really excited to start working with student initiatives.
Ever since first picking up a mouse and keyboard, computers and electronics have really facinated me not only with what individuals can accomplish, but the rate at which technology progresses. It amazes me how easily anyone can enter the internet world with little experience and next to no cost, yet still be able to access so much potential.
I've blogged since 2006, which is when I first started writing the Funknowledge Blog, and in 2008, this became the ReflectionUpon Blog.
I've always been eager to grab a camera and record my surroundings in digital format. I got my Canon T1i freshman year and ever since, I've taken countless photos within a myraid of contexts. Some of my photos are posted on my Flickr account here.
I'm also a web designer and programmer working on a variety of projects such as our school newspaper website, The Phillipian Online, an open-source community news platform, Pulse, and most recently, Sponsr.Us (still in alpha development).
In my free time, I participate in a variety of activities on campus such as our student newspaper, science club, Andover Chinese Community Outreach, ultimate frisbee, and squash.
